Cool And Dre have been making a little more news over the last week so just thought I’d give a little news update on our North Miami counterparts.
1. YMCMB Deal Renewal – Cool and Dre just renewed their production deal with Cash Money Records and will continue to work with the entire lineup of artists for future releases and songs. Hit making producers Cool & Dre have announced they have renewed a production deal with Cash Money Records. The pair will continue to work with artists on the Cash Money/Young Money roster of artists, that includes acts like DJ Khaled, Busta Rhymes, Drake, Mystikal, Nicki Minaj and others. According to Cash Money’s co-CEO Ronald “Slim” Williams, renewing Cool & Dre’s deal was a top priority for the label, stating that “Cash Money Records is only as strong as the body of work that we put out,” Slim said. “We are committed to making the best music and giving our fans quality albums. Cool & Dre are a big part of that and we look forward to working with them to realize and execute our vision.” – [Allhiphop]
2. Executive Producing Game’s Album – The Game and Cool & Dre are longtime collaborators, that is definitely known. But Game called in 94.1 in Tampa and revealed that Cool & Dre will be executive producing his next album F.I.V.E. – [HipHopNMore]
3. Popular Demand Clothing and Cool & Dre Team Up For A Good Cause – Cool & Dre have dedicated an enormous amount of personal resources toward the building of a music studio at The Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. In addition, they look forward to enjoying the countless hours they will be spending with their team training future vocalists and producers with the kids at the Boys & Girls Club. The shirt concept, ‘Miami Heat,’ was designed by Popular Demand artist Travis Price and features the super producers with fire coming out of their hands…’Human Torch’ style. C&D are holding an MPC and keyboard while being surrounded by burning speakers, with palm trees making up the background. It features an over sized ‘MIAMI HEAT’ custom graphic. Cool is wearing the Popular Demand ‘X’ tee while Dre is depicted wearing the Popular Demand official logo tee. The first 12 people to purchase the shirt will also receive the Popular Demand Cheetah Flag t-shirt in a Cool & Dre custom colorway. – [KarenCivil]
