(CBSMiami) – The Miami Marlins are about to embark on their most anticipated seasons in years and the team recently revealed when fans can get their hands on single-game tickets.
For opening night, April 4th, fans will have to enter an online registration process at no charge starting now and running through noon on February 20th.
If you are selected, you will have a chance to buy two tickets for opening night.
After the window closes on February 20th, fans will be randomly selected to buy tickets based on inventory; but being selected to have a chance to purchase tickets does not guarantee tickets. Those selected will be notified by February 28 at the latest.
Before opening night, the Marlins will host the New York Yankees in two exhibition games on Sunday April 1 at 1:10 p.m. and Monday, April 2 at 7:10 p.m. A total of 25,000 tickets will be available for the Sunday game and 30,000 will be available for the April 2 game.
Single game tickets to the two exhibition games against the Yankees will go on sale to the public on February 18th at 10 am and can only be bought online at marlins.com.
As for the rest of the 80 games to be held at the new Marlins Stadium, single-game tickets go on sale March 3 at 10 a.m.
Fans can buy single-game tickets that day at marlins.com or at the Marlins Park Ticket Office.
