We now present to you the Nike Lebron 9 Swingman. Huh? Yes. Lebron 9 Swingman. If you are a baseball fan, or a sneakerhead into variety, then the term Swingman is recognized. For those that are not aware, Swingman is Ken Griffey, Jr. If you think Jordan when the term Jumpman is mentioned, then Griffey is who you would think of with Swingman. Now you are probably thinking, why in the hell is there a Lebron 9 being being mashed up with a baseball player. That’s fair. Turns out Lebron James, like many of us sports fans, grew up with the players he looked up to as a kid. Well with the Lebron 7, Nike along with Lebron James decided to work on a ‘Heroes’ pack. Although it was never released, there are a few pairs of each circulating, as there always is interestingly enough. The heroes the first time around were Michael Jordan, Deion Sanders and Anfernee ‘Penny’ Hardaway. This time around it is Ken Griffey, Jr. The colorway will be reminiscent of the Seattle Mariners in case you haven’t noticed. As well as if you notice, the Lebron Dunkman logo on the rear heel of the shoe has the Swingman ‘swing’ sweeping over the Dunkman. Nice touch if you ask me. Peep game.
