Previously known as Substantial, T & W Subs & BBQ is the new spot in Cutler Ridge (Bay). Owners Tom and Wendy (hence the “T & W”) Wills, decided to takeover the old Sgt. Peppers location off of South Dixie Highway and SW 186th Street.
They have a long list of cold subs, hot subs and various Steak subs including the ever so popular Steak Bomb sub. The subs shown above are the Steak And Cheese with Lettuce and the BBQ Smoked Brisket Sub – along with their simple but tasty fries. You even have a good selection of pies and desert, including the “deadly” Red Velvet cake. Deadly in a good way of course.
And then the hidden treasure of T & W is their BBQ. Homestyled, slowly cooked Baby Back Ribs with their in-house BBQ sauce. Its not available all day, in fact, when I went they still had an hour left…but, they were worth the wait. Plus, tons of BBQ friendly sides to accompany your meal will have you feeling at home. And the prices aren’t bad either.
