If you’ve been to a hip-hop or urban party on the beach, then most likely, DJ Affect was probably spinning there or was spinning there at some point. DJ Affect is one of South Beach’s top DJs and has been for quite a few years now. Reading a crowd and knowing what songs to play, is not as easy as it sounds. And no matter the situation, Affect knows what to do. And this year also marked the year where Affect stepped into the world of production after securing a co-production credit on Pitbull’s single “Pause”. Then add his move over to being a DJ on 99 Jamz and an endorsement by Jose Cuervo Platino (pictured above), and Affect is most definitely DJ of the year.

Dj Efezzy is easily the best dj. Totally disagree affect plays the radio version of songs in the club!

THE MOCT BEAUTIFUL THING ABOUT DJ AFFECT IS THAT HE IS VERY HUMBLE…..SPENDS ALOT OF TIME ON THE SIDE TEACHING YOUNG KIDS HOW TO DJ, AND DOES MANY CHARITY EVENTS…..ONE VERY PERSONABLE MAN WITH MANY TALENST

DJ Effect is Miami 100%, He’s Been holding Miami since he started spinning. Theres been countless post about him on the 305 previously and this is a great post for all the Effect Fans. Its not a shock tho, To see Efezzy fans hating..they dident come up right like we do in Miami.

@Mike: I find it hilarious that you think DJ Efezzy is a better DJ than Affect. Let’s go down the list: 1-Efeezy is NOT on radio/tv; Affect has been on BET 106 & Park, Rap City the basement, held down 103.5 the beat & currently is holding down WEDR 99 Jamz, not to mention guest appearance’s on NY radio. 2-The FEW parties that Efeezy spins at…..USED to be popping/the it spot & for the record when those venues & parties were “The place to be” AFFECT was the DJ. He is THE MOST requested DJ by promoters NATIONWIDE & celebrities, currently holds residencies in Miami & NYC, not to mention all of his private parties/special events. Affect’s range allows him to be able to spin a four day corporate event for McDonalds & in the same day rock Mansion Nightclub till 4am.

“Mike” you must not get out often, travel much or know music & the way it should be blended because lets be honest….if you did, you would know that Affect IS the better dj, the peoples choice, etc etc the list goes on. LMK if you need me to get you on the list to one of his parties….I can make a call…Oh & lmk what city because we both know he travels a lot….its called high demand.

Great to see Affect getting the recognition he deserves. Everyone knows he’s the best DJ hands down!! Hottest parties, best radio show! And when celebs want to learn to spin they call him….enough said! And not only in miami so you other DJs be ready for him to takeover your city next!

first of all Brigitte is (dj affect) second just because you do all that stuff dont mean your the best. dj affect sucks! dj efeezy is by far better than affect. affect is a kiss ass and he is the reason 400 club parties fell off.

I feel bad that Efeezy only has “Rodney & Mike” as fans…Hopefully one day he can get his weight up or go back to the city he came from….Oh! That’s right, that’s not an option. LOL

Growing up in Miami, I have been listening to DJ Affect since Cream back in the day on 5th & Collins. I’m so proud of him & how far he has come. To this day hes def one of the very few dj’s who can make me get up & dance all night. Keep it up & w/out haters you’d have no motivation, so always remember to thanks them

I have known dj affect for everal years..he is by far the BEST DJ South Florida and New York have seen. He has such a huge following which speaks volumes as to his performing abilities. Affect is also a down to earth great guy that many aspire to be like. Anyone saying negative things is just sadly to say very envious that their talent does not compare to dj affect. Keep doing what ur doing affect ……you are one incredible dj with lotsa class!!!

All of DJ Affect’s haters are trippin on the fact that Affect IS the #1 DJ and they are jealous. Affect’s success has been well earned and he is in demand unlike Efeezy. Yall need to stop hatin on Affect who is workin hard 24/7 unlike you losers.

Honestly, its just a blog opinion. This ain’t the end be all of deciding what DJ is hotter.

Both do their thing. And they do it well. I try to do something nice for the city and recognize people’s accomplishments for the year….

And now the person before me is throwing racial remarks against Jewish people and Cuban people? And throwing the race card? Really?
