Sneakerheads and Back To The Future movie buffs are happy to see the release of the 2011 Nike Mag sneakers (aka the Air McFlys). Even though, they’re 4 years early as the movie portrayed them in 2015, Nike has teamed up with Michael J. Fox to auction off 1,500 pairs with proceeds going to The Michael J. Fox Foundation to further Parkinson’s research. The sneaker is a close replication of the famed big screen sneaker, except it really doesn’t have that ole’ auto-lacing feature. But who knows, maybe the 2015 version of the sneaker will as Nike DID put in the paperwork recently to patent that technology. So stay tuned to Ebay tonight (nikemag.ebay.com) to look at the auctions and see how high these prices go.
