Looking for bloggers, videographers, video editors and a photo assistant for The305.com

the3 Please send us any Memorial Day Weekend 2011 Events, so we can include it in our official event guide

The305.com continues to grow on a daily basis, and plain and simple, we’re looking for 2 bloggers, 1 videographer, 1 video editor and 1 photography assistant (that would like to learn the ins-and-outs of the media and photography industries). I’m thinking long term, and I’m also looking for reliable people that are open to growth. If you’re expecting a get-rich-quick situation, you need not apply. The money will come, you just have to prove yourself and earn it – I’ll leave it at that. And if you’ve applied before, I encourage you to do so again.

I’m taking this search serious, and if you are interested, so should you. Meaning, please write us a well-composed letter via email to info@the305.com, and please include a resume.

Here are descriptions of the positions we are looking to fill. And all of them are ready to fill in the month of September. Read below.

Posts of the latest and greatest coming out of Miami. If you follow the site, then pretty much filling in and posting the same type of content we usually post. Knowledge of Photoshop, Dreamweaver and WordPress preffered.

Occasionally we film interviews and cover events and either need a second b-roll camera, or occasionally we’ll just send you out on assignment. Canon DSLR’s (5DMKII, 7D, 60D, T3i, etc) are required. All Nikons are banned from The305 offices. Not really, but we’re Canon people at The305 – so for consistency, Canons are preferred.

Video Editor
We have tons of creative projects and tons of event footage we need edited in a stylish and punctual manner. If this sounds like something you’d like, then please contact us.

Photo Assistant (on-call)
We don’t need a 24-7 assistant, but occasionally, we do need someone to help out at a photoshoot or at an interview. And this might develop to be something constant. This is definitely a good way to learn about the photo industry, as well as the media industry and see how it all works. Having a car is most definitely required.
