Rick Ross puts his money where his mouth is…literally. Will invest in Wingstop…

Rick Ross takes his investment portfolio towards a different direction. After name dropping those fiyah lemon pepper wings from Wingstop in his song “MC Hammer” – Ross has revealed that he will open a Wingstop franchise location in Memphis, Tennessee. Ross joins former Dallas Cowboy Troy Aikman, who became an investor and member of Wingstop’s board earlier this year.  Allhiphop caught up with Ross for a statement in which he hilariously kept it real and said:

“After tasting Wingstop’s signature lemon pepper–flavored wings in Miami, I knew this was a franchise I wanted to add to my investments,” Rick Ross said in a statement today (August 4th).”

There are plans in the works for multiple Ross owned Wingstop locations, but the first will open later this year at at 7706 Winchester Road.
