On June 11, the Marlins’ Super Saturday concert will feature a post-game performance by one of hip hop’s biggest artists, Ludacris. First pitch versus the Arizona Diamondbacks is set for 7:10 p.m. at Sun Life Stadium, and the first 10,000 fans will receive Marlins Thunder Sticks Presented by New Era Cap.

Ludacris is a Grammy Award-winning artist and respected award-winning actor. Ludacris, a.k.a. Christopher Bridges, has sold more than 12 million albums in the U.S. with his ninth album, Ludaversal, scheduled to be released in early 2012. Ludacris’ debut album, Back for the First Time, reached #4 on the Billboard Top 200 with hits such as â€œSouthern Hospitalityâ€ and â€œWhat’s Your Fantasy.â€ His third album Chicken and Beer included his first #1 Billboard Hot 100 single â€œStand Up,â€ and was followed by the album Red Light District, which peaked at #1 on the Billboard Top 200. Following Red Light District, Ludacris appeared in his two most notable film roles, starring as â€œSkinny Blackâ€ in â€œHustle and Flowâ€ and as â€œAnthonyâ€ in the Oscar-winning Best Picture â€œCrash,â€ which garnered Ludacris a Screen Actors Guild award for Outstanding Cast in a Motion Picture.
