Tolls on the Collins Bridge – 1925

thetollschedule-1925

A Wooden Bridge that was built in 1913. At the time of being built it was the longest wooden bridge in the world. It connected the Miami mainland to Miami Beach. Before it came along, the only way you could get to Miami Beach was via ferry. The Collins Bridge was eventually phased out by the construction of the more modern Venetian Causeway that opened up in the mid 1920s. And eventually the bridge was demolished.
