To commemorate the 35th anniversary of Black History Month, Jordan Brand has decided to pay homage by using the Air Jordan III (the bigger of the two photos above) as its canvas. The sneaker is composed of a combination of premium leather and suede material. To compliment the black, gold stitching will be placed along the entire upper of the shoe. Rumor has it that less than 3,000 pairs were made. The Air Jordan III BHM will set you back a cool $175 if bought at retail. I expect resellers to try to hit the $300 mark on these due to their rumored limited amount so beware and cop wisely. Also, look out for the Kobe VI BHM to release the same day at a retail price of $130.
