It all started with Charles Barkley commentating during an NBA game. Then fans started sharing his rants and Miami hit-makers Cool and Dre took Charles and turned it into a hit overnight, making Charles the next musical sensation. And you can’t have a hit song without a music video, right? It all sounds a bit crazy, but anything is possible on America’s Largest 4G Network…T-Mobile. Directed by Spike Lee.

The beat is dope by the way…Shouts to Cool & Dre.

I wish that some actual good people that represent Miami correctly avtually did this, but the fact is these niggas suck, just straight up, they resorting to this shit, it would be cool if they were some up and comers doing these commercials, but these niggas suppose to put our city on their back, and dre still ain’t figured out cool holds him back cuz cool sucks at everything to do with music,,,,,example games song called shake, I could go on, but I will save u…..dre makes all the quality stuff, and cool, makes the worst shit we ever heard in Our life……. Dre could be the next Emilio estephan with all his talent, but his partners social awkwardness makes niggas not fuck with him, I know dudes who have hell a deals on the table for dre, but they won’t even bring them to him cuz cool, is so uncool, and cool hurts their brand, it’s just fact if u ask any major label presidents, or acquisitions people, they say no way, cool is wack, u wonder why they have a high powered trial lawyer doing their entertainment business stuff, cuz it’s the only way they could break through and make any money, all they shit was a fake fasod, until they hooked up with the lawyer, he has to speak for them and use his years of litigation and trial experience to close music deals, and if u know music execs, if u r a hot producer it’s easy to get deals, but not when u got a anchor holding u down named cool…….. Dre is in a world of denial, and each deal like the tmobile thing Helps his conscious, but really as talented as dre is, he is actual underachieving, people wouldn’t know but he is more skilled than most out their in the world, but he is stuck in a shitty situation, but he has found a way to be happy in it, but I guess he didn’t have a choice, but poor dre got a shitty existence when your best friend sucks, and niggas say u feel off musically, but really u didn’t, it’s your best friend holding u back the whole time, f$&ed up situation, and who looses, us Miami fans and life long supporters of this scene……dre has that type of talent that could have him in palm island with a studio and a constant flow of the best of the best in music, not just urban music……will it ever happen, prob not for a while, but until then we sending all the support to dre to wake up, and follow your dreams fully, go buy cool and phantom after u seperate yourself from his fake shady ways……cool might be cool in dress face, but how cool treats everybody else when no one is looking is foul, some of u is like yea right,,,,,.but trust me this ain’t no joke, that uncool dude is holding a city back from birthing another musical genius, following in the foot steps of the greats like Emilio and rudi Perez, crossover success, not hood success, and not lil Wayne placements, cuz if the Wayne placement weren’t expected, then they would mean something, but those placements ain’t helping nobody grow, they r expected….. So to all u who think this article or blog, is not accurate, then u r just believing what u r seeing from an outsiders point of view, but in the deepest part of they circle, what has been typed is the overall feeling, will it ever get addressed, prob not, but us real 305 fans who have been buying and spending our money on records and concerts, and tours, and merchandise for years, we want our city to be better and take advantage of the talent we already have, we want a guy like dre to become the biggest producer there is, and we want to by everything he puts out or produces, and even if this falls on a deaf ear, I hope somebody wakes up in that camp, epidemic is dead, and cool is killing the movement, the world changes and so does what’s hot, everybody else in the or camp changes with it except that dude…… Every empire in the world that fell had a fake nice guy, and epidemics is uncool aka cool…… Dre bring the 305 back to the glory days, this is bigger than hurting your little homes feelings, he will be their supporting u when u winning Grammys….. Which u should have already won a few, and your lil Wayne shit don’t even count anymore, Get to work dre, we need u to step up, and grow up, hurting your partners feeling for the greater good of this city and your family, and the effect of this will help your lil homie uncool……… Hey dre u know what taking action and branching off, to help everybody in your circle is called, it’s called growing up and being a man, a real man who can see that the initial hit and backlash from those around u, is only temporary, and in the end those mad at u will be grateful u did what u did……which is branch off…..and take full advantage of your talent……your parnter represents u, and u can’t control his actions or social awkwardness, so why take a hit to your rep and carreer , which hurts us fans and our cities rep……it’s time to make a change dre,,,,,,,, u have been quite to long……. The Wayne stuff gets sweeped under the rug cuz wayne is bigger than the producers on his albums…..people don’t even relize u did tracks on his albums any more, and that hurts us in the 305, niggas don’t know man….dre we need u homie, we ain’t enjoy ourselves the same since chevy ridding high…that song made us feel like we were proud of something down here, like we were something…….remember that….remember your fans like u more than khaleds fans like him, ask your people of a chart of the south Florida sales by music genre, and look khaled up, we don’t buy his shit down here, it’s people in the middle of nowhere and new York who support him…..look at the numbers, they don’t lie, why don’t they support him, he isn’t a real native son, and we all know he has been using this city for the last 11 to 12 years…and he passed his knowledge of how to use it on to baby and lil Wayne, u see they r the tourist crew, they use our city until nothing is left but fair-weather fans who have no choice but listen, encase the radio is profit, and the work the system……..so please the guy who is really from Miami, and is a real tenant that really shits on khaled and Baby talent rise, Dre start a new llc and even if it’s on the side and it takes time, start developing your own thing, that isn’t influenced by your life long friends and partners, they say if u still hanging around the same people as u did 10yrs ago, u guys aren’t helping each other, why because if u r growing together u r making progress together, and u r to busy to be hanging around them everyday because unhelped them develop, u being the leader, r u developing to expectations of yourself, no u r not, where were u on the podium at the grammys, u were sitting in your studio with the same dudes watching, watching the Grammys, all that talent u have u should be ashamed, get out there, get on the road some solo, develop relationships based on who u r, not on a combination of personalities and people.. U, u, u, u need to be selfish and reach your potential now, not in 10yrs or more…….get away from the dudes that know nothing but north Miami and hop hop, u gave the ability to be more than that, and u have the ability to take the city on your back, and u can make every dude sitting on a porch in Miami feel like there status has been raised, all by u doing u and branching out, get the he’ll put of n Miami, and go take over nigga, u can’t say no one never told u the path, u reading it now……..go get em man……….it’s time to step out your comfort zone u created since your big breakup, and u r ready to step out of it…..it’s time dre,………the city u helped create a movement in, needs u to get back to not being scared to branch out away, the pain u went through wasn’t a result of branching out, it was a result of a evil chick……so don’t get in twisted, there was alot of good that came in u trying to be different and branching ouit and trying new shit, and being more than a normal n Miami music producer……now get back to that cuz it’s time, the game is changing quickly and the hood ways around u will have stuck behind the game if u don’t adjust……u gave to ability to do it, remember ridding n dying with success of one label cash money/ym……is never a good idea…. To much u can’t control, and their rep is your rep then…….fulfill your obligations and keep everyone cool, but start your own LLC that is solely yours, and your ideas aren’t touched by the heavy influence of your peers…..Even if u think your ideas aren’t influenced, they r, even sublimanly….it’s human nature……….branch out dre u owe it to the city and yourself and your family to take full advantage of your talents…..

  • mikeTV

lol. u gettin all personal with the nigga.

  • Coach

I wonder who you’re expecting to read that long ass comment. lmao *Crickets*

  • Whobs

tell us how you really feel.. but it’s true tho. miami’s hip hop seen has kinda been pimped as of late because of it’s nature as america’s playground.

  • bmyles

Stan why are you so mad? Understand that cool and dre do want you as a fan. lol

  • Bird

Lol…Stan…that was tight……..the blog is coming from a fan who had bought everything 305 for a long time, and after dre decided to not release the trunk….I did research on the situation, and found out some stuff….and that why I vent years later now that our hip hop scencehas taken a turn to tourist running the city……and if u read the blog u can see why tourist run the city, I try not to blame it all on c n d……but the truth is dre is a worldly talent…..and something holds him back from branching out, and most of us know what it is…………I hope the blog made some at least one person aware of some things……..I mean the only guy left from the don scenic when we were really killing it, is Rick Ross……..that whole scenic was fueled by dre sound…the runners from vero beach, they came after dre, meaning their sound was still being developed while dre is releasing reginal and natinal hits…..so u can trace alot back to dre genius…..but with no trunk album by dre…..and trick being damn near gone, flo went pop, where does that leave us, high jacked by khaled and baby……u say well khaled was here for all those eras, but, he was a tourist then and is now, and that was ok back then, he was the dj for all the 305 artist…and he spun the records, and he was in the middle of the scene but he wasn’t “the scene”…like he is now……it’s sad how things got to this point where dudes r representing us that ain’t even from here, and then they sign dudes that’s not even from here, and put them in our streets and hoods and show the Miami life to claim record sales…….I ain’t trying to start nothing, but I know a few dudes that if they weren’t in jail , or didn’t want to be cool with the tourist rappers, then these dudes like baby and khaled would be paying serious hood tax like back in the day……( trick daddys back in the day playing in the back ground)………………. anyway back to the dre issue…….man dre owe to the city to either put out some superstars from here in Miami, or work on his own project again…… I mean dre was on his d boy n Miami shit back then, but u can’t help but notice he was on jive before most these dudes, and he could have easily been drake before drake………..and now he can at least find a dude with crossover ability like that……we hope……to end this…I say this……..our culture was so strong and so cool with our music our donks our swag and fashion, that when the mainstream rappers and execs saw it, they had to come and take it and be apart of it, but what happen was they pushed us out again, yea we got success with pit and flo, but even those dudes went pop after seeing the world, so they r in their own pop category, as far as hood music, well we have the corporate version now in khaled, just like anything else the corporations wanted a piece of the culture, so just like any other thing they touched they did this, got a guy who isn’t from the hood, or from Miami (Orlando via NO), and surrounded him with the hood niggas who would sell out for a buck…and then align their guy with some guys who r considered hood in the media already (cash money)…..and then make song talking about I am from the hood and I’m so hood, and glorying the original Miami sound and culture so they can market it with tourist faces, they even moved dudes here to be from here……… Khaled is not Miami….baby is not Miami…..hopefully they help the economy somehow, but if u know anything about guys like that, the whole thing is based off of what u don’t have, to make it look like u have it, the old trickjewish execs invented back when the huge gold chains were in when hip hop started, they had to make a show for the videos, then take back the merchandise, and keep a chain or two so the rappers could put on the chains when they walked out in public, got to sell the dream, I mean that’s what people buy into, a nd then buy the music……..so the same mentality is baby and khaled, just In our city…..I say tax em and put the money toward music development programs in our communities, or rob em and do the same…..lol…but to bring it back to good old dre…..well he has the talent to change all this, yup, the tall skinny nigga does, for real, but he got to branch out on his own and start creating his own track record with the corporations and money handlers, that way they will invest into him, so he can make the proper moves, but poor dre track record with cool next to his side ain’t nothing to brag about, the tmbile thing was would have been great years ago coming off promotion of an album..maybe a dre album or even a cool and dre album back in the day….feat songs like chevy riddn high, blow, and anything else from that era of dre……..just that move in the peak of our cities popularity in hip hop, and it would have been a different story and cool n dre would be releasing there 3rd or 4th album by now, instead of dj tourist(khaled)……. but as people read this, and their slow brains work, they will take the idea and roll with it,it’s just 6yrs t0 late……. So dre get on it, u slacking making your public stock go up, but your musical stock go down….. Nice commercial but where’s the music, and we don’t mean stuff with Wayne, we stuff with Miami niggas, or did u forget, Wayne baby and khaled ain’t from here, hey native son, we calling u out…..wheres the music niiiiigggggaaa…

  • Coach
