Lol….khaled has another one In the 305 only…….same drops, same beats, same music equipment, same lack of ability to cut through to the rest of the world…..which still doesn’t help 305 artist get signed……. So same story, he can release these type of somas and bats for the next 10yrs, and everybody in the 305 can say the same thing, the records r catered to crowd that doesn’t buy shit……..period…..so even though we like khaled and his records, he is being a stubborn dumb dude right now……remember this period in our history of hip hop in Mia, why because those is the period khaled should be branching out to other countries and new sounds, but still keeping it hard, his lack of doing this will hurt us on the corporate level for years to come……. I know most y’all dumb asses don’t care, but when everything crashes for local artist getting signed…….don’t say I didn’t tell u, we almost there now, we got to make dollars for the suits in order for us to make sense to the suits…….no matter how hard pr how much we like khaled down here, the worlds perception means more to the people who make the decisions that count……..and once again us corporate guys see the storm coming our way, but the people in the streets r blinded by the khaeld sound we all been liking for years, but the lack of khaleds global branding is moving him slightly behind what’s going on in the music industry, a video in the hood and a nice beat with a lot of features means khaled is hot and doing well in the 305……that’s all it takes to make us happy, that’s what we believe is reality of success, but it’s actually not…..we don’t care down here, but when it’s to late and this dudes stupid business moves creep back to haunt our future, people will be wondering what’s going on, well if u r reading this, remember some of us r fighting in the corporate record level offices trying, and fighting for our city and the artist and producers, and again the suits don’t see it like we do…….our view of success for khaled is not their view of success…. We can all agree Rick Ross has been more successful than khaled recently, and khaled was suppose to be in charge of that success at def jam, well guess what? Khaled isn’t getting the credit he deserves for Ross success, why? Because of preconceived notions by the suits, and khaled lack of ability to reach the main stream with every single he releases, only one single reaches the main stream per album, and that doesn’t cut it in major labels, so that preconceived notion of khaled being able to het the streets pumped is accurate, but so is the one the suits say about him, which is a direct quote “the street khaled gets pumped up, aren’t the same streets that buy his album, they might have a copy, but they didn’t buy it” in other wards, they, and by they I mean the guys who make the decisions in the conglomerates, they think khaled is basically a whole lot of hype about nothing, we in the 305 understand the history and lifes that have been changed and helped by his music, but the suits don’t care and don’t care to see it in that light, it’s dollar and sense, bottom line is if khaled came out with no features, no money being spent, and No divided royalties, then the numbers he has put up, would be ok borderline great, but the fact their r that many features, that many producers, that much spent on videos and marketing, the major levels don’t win with this formula, and khaled used that formula on ace hood, and continues to use it in a major label situation, it is suppose to work on an indie label like e1…..and it did if u like running a medic ore business plan based on more hype and cars, and momentum in your own city, but those things don’t equal success in the corporate world, so he moves to cash money to apply the formula with all their artist signed to the same label he is on, which he can feature alot of people and have cash money use there artist signed and obligated to preform on khaleds albums, so he finds a home to apply his biz plan and formula, the problem, yes there is a problem, khaeld still on a major, and that means above baby and slim, above khaled and anybody associated with the music, their is a suit crunching numbers in a office named comcast/general electric……yes that who owns universal…..which owns motown/universal/cash money/ young money….and I can keep going on, it’s a business, and khaleds business plan is horrible, no matter how much we love the dudes infectious personality, and work ethic and music, he is still pushing a huge rock up a steep hill, and the rock weighs more than him, , so what will eventually happen, unless the rock get smaller, our face of the 305 will fall with the rock on top of him, we can stop this by happening, by changing the perception of the suits towards khaled, which in return is the percetion of us, khaleds biz plan is so bad, it takes over representation of us in the suits minds, for real….if u ask a suit what about so and so, u know that new hot Miami artist, the suits response is, why r we going to sign him, khaled got everybody in hip hop feat on his album, guys we can’t even get cleared, and still khaleds numbers aren’t what we r looking for…..this is the suits response, the suits want a freaking Justin bieber, or hip hop speaking, they want lil Wayne or kid cudi….and ace was khaled version of Wayne, at least to the suits, so do u think khaled has a kid cudi but better, ummmmm no, even if he did, the pure artsit would turn out all fucked up hanging around the crew at We The Best…those dudes still living in the 90′s…..but we love dudes like that down here, it’s just the rest of the world laughing at their decision making, remember Rick Ross started his career on Poe boy and that was during a different error, and during that error Ross gained alot of fans with his no feature biz plan, and guess what he won, and is still winning, that extra money he got from that got him through the 50 beef and cove on successfully, we can not say the same about khaled, 50 got under khaleds skin, and we all could tell, and he lost alot of us during that period, Ross never showed it got under his skin, he played it cool, and came with some shit, khaled did the complete opposite, he got scared and locked the studio…..lol……..these things all add to the downfall our our cities biggest urban DJ ever, khaled can come out on e1 forever and release a single every year with features and t pain, and we all will think he is god in Miami, forever…….so that he earned, but his dumb biz moves, and biz partners around him, have and and it seems will always hold him back from making that next step, and we all in the 305 hip hop scene, need him to make the next step, his growth has been at a stand still for sometime now, and it’s very disheartening to those who have a brain to see how his growth stopping has stopped our hip hop scene as a whole from stop growing, YM Cash Money singing was a great publicity move, but who on that label has moved units with as many features as khaled, the answer no one has, no one has, Units have been moved, lil Wayne drake nikki minaj, and all those artist have had a few features and some good marketing, so how does khaled biz plan compare to those three success, it doesn’t, it doesn’t equal…..it will look good as always, but underneath it will be financial not worth it, unless cash money young money and khaled r happy just being one big show that features alot of flaunting working the public percetion………but that’s what they do now, they spend their money where people can see them spend it, and they put on a show at calculated times, and start another buzz when one dies down, so where does khaled fit in,,,,, well he will be the guy who reaps the benefits of his new label, but if u made everybody on the label a number, he would be the low number, but nobody will know cuz he will blend in with the labels success, but the blend will only be public percetion, not the suits percetion, they aren’t fooled by the hype, they see the numbers, so again, us the 305 hip hop scence, get the great parties feature all the other rappers from everywhere but here, and we get the industry down here, but khaled ain’t do nothing to help our percetion in The suits minds, so here we r, the same spot we been in, the only difference on dj named khaled improved his stature in the public percetion format, but his selfish dumb stubborn business ways have screwed our percetion over in the suits eyes, and what’s messed up is, we didn’t have nothing to do with it, and what I just explained in this crazy blog, is what is going on for real, this is real testimony, u can hat all u want, but this is reality in the offices, I want us to well and I do like khaled, but it’s my job to let this info out, I owe it to the people of the 305…….and aloof what I said is th e present a lot is the future and what is happening now. And how it will be in the future…… If somebody can change this somewhere in any record label office, please do something to help, we don’t have any control over our voice down here any more, khaleds old success made him our voice and the example labels take to view our rappers and hip hop scence, but his recent moves have defined us also, we have other voices and other artist and other styles and sounds, if u r reading, don’t let one stubborn dummy be the voice for the rest of s talented community filled with great hip hop artist, the same success pop artist from our city have had, our hip hop artist can have also, market us, and u will see we have a new sound, new voices, and something different that khaled and his crew, remember we birthed trick daddy poison clan Rick Ross, and rapper turned pop artist flo rida………and if u want numbers on the charts and in the labels bank account, look at Rick Ross formula from his first albums, the biz plane made him make money, he carried the album with no features, and it made money, remember when your sales go up every album, and u started your biz plan out by caring the weight yourself with no features, then urn building a monster biz plan, especially when u start selling a million albums………we have arrest that have proven to do that……..we obviously have the connection to get features not even u the leafless can get why, cuz u got to come hang out withnus in the Mia, to party, and we got to give u a pass, pass=feature…….so our biz plan down here and our formula cam work great……example flo rida….Rick Ross……and to be honest some real dumb dudes pulled that off for those two artist, imagine if someone with some biz creativity got ahold of the talent down here…..somebody actually smart…..lol…..well the future will tell alot, but don’t say u didn’t r ead something about it when it happens, encase u just got a peak into the future and into reality of the labels, view this blog as a gift from someone who has been around and knows alot of these suits I talk about…….i wish there were blogs to inform me like this when I was coming up, but everything happens for a reason…….
