I’m surprised I didn’t recognize the sample as I’m a avid listener of music from the 50′s, 60′s and 70′s. Bangladesh, producer of the record, revealed that it was Harry Belafonte’s “Day-O (Banana Boat Song)” where he lifted the “six foot seven foot” vocal sample from. Listen for it below…
