Rick Ross tops New York Times’ list for top album of the year

Damon Winter / The New York Times

Last year, Ross’ Deeper Than Rap was #3 on their list. This year, Rick Ross’ Teflon Don made the #1 choice for album of the year over at the New York Times. That’s BIG news. Considering all the genres of music, its crazy that they would put him over artists like Taylor Swift and Kanye West. So when you see a publication like the New York Times recognize Ross’ accomplishments this year, its kinda sad that the Grammy nods slipped on by.
