Allright, so remember my trip to New York City in late June? I couldn’t tell you what it was about then, but fortunately, now I can.
I was out in New York City for an exclusive preview and gaming presentation from 2K Games where I got an in-depth look into Mafia II, which is due out for release August 24, 2010 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. I also got to see a little bit about Civilization V, which is due out later in the fall.
Well, to celebrate the release of Mafia II, starting Monday we will be counting down towards the release of Mafia II with a different Mafia II related post a day, including one with a little more insight to our NYC Trip that included experiencing a 3D gaming rig with three HD monitors that gave us a real 3D experience of Mafia II. It was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before.
And locally, you can celebrate the release of Mafia II with a special event at Grand Central in Downtown Miami on August 22nd, put together by Gamertag Radio. The event will have DJ Sharpsound on the tables, alongside Mayday and Garcia performing. Hosting the event will be Hot 97′s Miss Info alongside Gamertag’s Godfree and PeteRocc.
