Grammy-nominated and Songbook Entertainment/Atlantic recording artist Trey Songz teams up with Def Jam’s platinum-selling recording artist Fabolous for the Be Seen Being Green (BSBG) College Music Tour. Both Trey Songz and Fabolous are the headliners for the official BSBG Concert kicking off in Miami on April 16, 2010, at James L. Knight Center (400 SE 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33131).

In addition to show-stopping performances by both Trey Songz and Fabolous, the BSBG concert program includes a highly interactive and green-related agenda. Right before the concert begins, there will be a personal Meet & Greet with Trey Songz for select fans. Tasha DeNae (Featured as a winner on BET 106th & Park Wild Out Wednesday) has been named the official opening act for the BSBG Concert and will be performing. DreamSharee Edu-tainment, the company behind this unique green movement, launched a national contest in search of an opening act for Fabolous and Trey Songz and Tasha DeNae was selected as the winner. There will be a speacial performance by, Miami’s own, Black Dada. Persia White (Actress, Musician, and Environmental Activist- best known for her role as Lynn Searcy on sitcom Girlfriends) and Apple Levy (Founder of The Green Girls) will be providing educational green tips and facilitating green-related contests and raffles that will allow concertgoers to win cool eco-friendly prizes, throughout the night. Ivy League graduate and Hip Hop artist, Homeboy Sandman, will serve as the official host the concert.
Immediately after the concert, Trey Songz and Fabolous will head to the official BSBG Green Carpet After Party at Mansion Nightclub (1235 Washington Avenue Miami Beach, FL 33139-4613) sponsored by Nuvo. The first 500 concertgoers to arrive to the after party at Mansion will receive complimentary drinks, courtesy of Nuvo. This will be a star-studded event and Apple Levy will be the Green Carpet Correspondent.
The Be Seen Being Green College Music Tour is a two-tier movement that couples education with entertainment and DreamSharee Edu-tainment, has aligned itself with celebrities, politicians, and environmental activists to spread this crucial message of living a cleaner, greener life. “We’re excited to have Fabolous and Trey Songz as a part of our green movement. On April 15, 2010, prior to the concert, an educational Be Seen Being Green (BSBG) Seminar will take place at The University of Miami. Persia White will host the BSBG Seminar and a lively panel of green experts will educate students on how to live green. Mayor Bower of Miami Beach is issuing DreamSharee Edu-tainment a Proclamation for this movement and will declare the month of April to Be Seen Being Green in the city of Miami Beach. Commisioner Jonah Wolfson will present this Proclamation at the seminar, on behalf of Mayor Bower, to DreamSharee Edu-tainment. The seminar program also includes an exclusive preview of the documentary, Growing Greener Schools (publicly broadcast to PBS World stations on April 19-April 23 during Earth Week), by award-winning author and filmmaker Dale Bell. Apple Levy is also a panelist, in addition to her role at the concert and after party. Persia will show clips of her film Intelligent Life (recipient of the Environmental Media Association’s Green Seal Award). Reverend Lennox Yearwood, Jr., Hip Hop Caucus CEO, will show an inspirational documentary that will show students that going green isn’t as hard as it seems. There will also be a meet & greet with the panelists and a book signing for Dale Bell’s book, Going To Green. Contests and raffles will also take place at the seminar.
Following the seminar, DreamSharee Edu-tainment will host a private Welcome Reception, in honor of their Be Seen Being Green movement with Eco-friendly cocktails courtesy of VeeV Acai Spirits. Invited guests include tastemakers, celebrities, environmental activists, politicians, and other influential guests. The purpose of this eco-friendly mixer is to bring together those who encourage green living and nurture relationships, and start green conversations in style.
