We posted a couple previews of this mixtape over the last month, including yesterday – and now here’s the official release of Miami based Jovi Rockwell’s mixtape Psycho Therapy.
Jovi is known for her eccentric style and original flavor and “Psycho Therapy” is no different. With guest appearances from Akon, Diplo, Major Lazer and more, Jovi’s “Psycho Therapy” is a refreshing listen.
Born in Kingston Jamaica to Cabaret Singer Winston Clarke and Fashionista and Beautician Marva Bloomfield-Clarke, Jovi is the definition of Uptown meets Downtown. A formula she says is embedded in her DNA . A formula which allows her to break the class barriers in her home town of Norbrook Kingston in her Native land of Jamaica.
“Music is Music, and I represent a culture not a specific area, the only time you belong in a box is when your dead” the self-proclaimed Rebel. Love. Goddess says, unapologetically.
