Gil Green is responsible for some the best music videos shot over the last couple years. He’s worked with pretty much every body you can think of. From Lil Wayne to G-Unit to Fat joe and beyond. Well, the Miami Herald did this very extensive and fitting article on this Miami native. He’s someone that has put shine and brought momentum to the filming industry in South Florida. Read the full article below…
Fabolous was in town this past Friday for the Miami stop of his Reebok tour that we’ve been talking about for a couple weeks now. He stopped by Footlocker in the Dadeland Mall in the early afternoon for a couple autograph signings and then he proceeded to the luxurious Gansevoort South for a private concert for tons of adoring fans. The middle photo is at Footlocker Dadeland and the other two are at the Gansevoort. All five of his (Fabolous’) collaboration sneakers with Reebok are in stores now exclusively at Footlockers everywhere.

The Jamaican accent starts off strong and then a couple lines into the video, the accent meta-morphs back to where it should naturally be – that 305-speak.
If you want to see how hip hop dance can be wholesome, just take a look at the Hip Hop Kidz. For almost two decades, these dedicated and energetic youngsters have been entertaining crowds at charity events, ballgames, music videos and almost every venue imaginable. Now the nation’s premier dance program, which has spawned its own full length movie, music CD and book series, comes to Gainesville.
Hosted by Streets & Young Dueces, DJ Aspekt is back with another mixtape edition featuring a mix of today’s popular songs and some “305″ flavor mixed in between. Download below…
Britney Spears has a concert in town and its right around the corner. I guess she brought the entire family to chill for a day or two before she has to get to work. Spotted at the Mandarin Oriental with her sister, mother, father and bebe kidz all by their sides. Photos & Story via AccidentalSexiness.Com
We posted a video of his performance earlier, well now, here’s a photo of Kid Cudi as he swung through LIV at the Fountainebleau this past Friday August 28th. There joining him were apparently fans and friends, Alan Thicke Robin Thicke and the ultra-beautiful and near-perfect Paula Patton. LIV is definitely one of Miami’s top spots to go to every weekend – the photo above just shows what a regular night seems like at the Fountainebleau Hotel. Yeah….

Former Missy Elliot protege, and current Poe Boy princess, Lil Brianna or just plain Brianna as she’s now known, remixes “You’re A Jerk” with her own flava. I heard this version a couple weeks ago via DJ Entice’s Drive At 5 mix, but never found out who it was until this past Friday. And soon as I did, I had to get the MP3 asap – which I did. She absolutely MURDERED this beat. Wow. Listen/download below…

Wale is definitely my new-school favorite artist out right now. Glad to see him link up with Cool & Dre again after the amazing “Chillin” with Lady Gaga. This time, they take a little pointer from an ATCQ classic. Listen below..

This behind the scenes video of the “Whatever You Want” video shoot that went down at the Fountainebleau Hotel a couple weeks ago with Consequence, Kanyeezy and John Legend. Its taken from the perspective of the Conz.
Here’s some footage of Consequence shooting the video for his single “Whatever You Want” featuring Kanye and John Legend, in Miami. The Fountainbleu Hotel was the location for the shoot. The Fountainbleu is famous because the movie “Scarface” was shot there. The homie Hype Williams directed the video… – Ibn

“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.”
This quote not only justifies but sets the overall tone of entrepreneur and tastemaker behind the music Karen “KD” Douglas’ lifestyle. Since her inception into the world, this young business woman has displayed nothing less than a tireless work ethic and dedication to every endeavor that she has ever placed hands on. Born in London, England in a single parent home, KD and her mother moved to the United States in the mid 80′s. Although she excelled in all areas academically “Most of my interests throughout school revolved around the fine arts including, all avenues and genres of music and entertainment.” The young “renaissance” woman was also a member of the National Honors Society and humbly states that she graduated at the top 15% of her senior class.
Ludacris stayed one more night in Miami to make rounds and promote his all new Conjure Cognac venture that has pretty much officially landed in the U.S. market. This past Tuesday, he celebrated at Grass. And now, this past Wednesday he joined Phil The Mayor and the whole Club B.E.D. family for Pillow Talk Wednesdays to introduce Conure Cognac to a different side of town. Poe Boy Music was definitely in full representation as E-Class and Flo-Rida made their rounds to come support Ludacris and his new venture. Shout out to Last Rights Clothing, Ludacris was seen rocking the Blue/Gray version of their “Yes” t-shirt in the photos below.
