They ain’t Kim, but they’ll do. Especially Kourtney – this poster definitely does her justice. The show that started filming earlier this year, will now premiere in a couple weeks on August 16th…only on E. It follows both girls as they’ve been in Miami setting up the South Beach branch of their clothing boutique DASH. Check the video promos by clicking below after the jump…

Police Women Of Broward County premieres Thursday August 6, 2009 on TLC. I kinda have a feeling that they originally tried to shoot this reality show in Dade County (since their Miami Ink show was) and the TV execs over at TLC got the bajeezus scared outta’ them. Ana gets down though.

The next year is going to be an interesting one for Dwayne Wade, the Miami Heat and for fans of Jordan Brand. Here’s a picture Wade put up on his Twitter account showing off his newly designed “W3LCOM3 HOM3″ t-shirt. Can’t wait to see what his first sneaker under Jordan brand will look like.
Lil Wayne talks with Sway backstage at the first showing of the America’s Most Wanted tour. Talks about the Young Money crew.

Well, to celebrate K. Foxx’s departure from the 305, we just wanted to post this throwback photo from her in The Source from a few years back. She said this is the photo that inspired the concept behind her “I Am Every Woman” calendar. Either way, come celebrate with K. Foxx and friends at her official Going Away party at Club B.E.D. on Saturday night, August 1st.

UPDATE: CONTEST IS OVER. WE HAVE OUR WINNER.
Fabolous has been a mainstay in hip-hop over the past decade and has put out hit after hit after hit. Well, its 2009, and Fabolous is living up to his previous track record by recently releasing Loso’s Way, his fifth studio album on Def Jam Records. Well, we’re trying to give a lucky reader a chance to win a copy of Loso’ Way – courtesy of Lex Promotions and LexPromotions.com. The winner will be chosen by being the THIRD person who can correctly email us the answer to the following question…
What was the name of Fabolous’ first song that got its first major placement on a national release…AND…what was the name of the album it was placed on?
Hint: It wasn’t the song with Nate Dogg
Please send the answer along with your mailing address to miamihiphop@gmail.com
And not to fear if you don’t win the Fabolous CD because there will consolation prizes as well courtesy of Lex Promotions.
UPDATE: CONTEST IS OVER. WE HAVE OUR WINNER.

Sorry for the lack of updates the past couple days, including today. And there’s a good reason though. Been working on this big announcement for The305.com that we will make on Monday August 3, 2009 @ 9AM. So bare with us, Normal updates should resume later this evening. Thanks for the continued support…
The videos keep coming. Ross’ daily internet presence has lost no steam in the blog circuits. Here’s a new video sans Ne-Yo on the hook…

Local artist, Jon J comes through with a new track called “Fresh N Clean” and its produced by G Music. Its on some laid-back new-era braggadocious type sh*t. And it rides. The track adds on to mood. Its off his current project, Worth The Weight, hosted by DJ Kris Stylez. Read a portion of the press release below, and the song right under that…
On the steady come up, is what best defines this Miami based artist, Jon J. First, he caught your ear with Getcha’ Weight Up, which featured cameos from DJ Ideal, Cubo and C-Ride. Now with his new release Worth Tha Weight he is looking to take over the streets. Both releases have been exclusively hosted by DJ Kris-Stylez (The Black Wallstreet / The Game’s official DJ) and heavily produced by G Music (Famous Artist Music Management) whose credits include Pitbull Feat. Wyclef-Jungle Fever and Ne-Yo-Closer (Remix) and new Pitbull-Calle Ocho (spanish version).

Supra’s Skytops have been one of my favorite sneakers as of late. And here they go with another clean colorway. The “Steel Blue” colorway. The design features a “steel blue” upper with a white vulcanized midsole. Check your local Supra dealers for availibility or you can order online via CCS.

UPDATE: This track is actually a leftover track that was recorded for DJ Drama’s first Gangsta Grillz album. Drama was on Twitter talking about it and clearing up the track’s origins. A new version of the track was then released shortly after that with him [Drama] talking on the track and playing the role of being Weezy’s boxing coach. Too lazy to upload it, but regardless, its not that much different. So yeah…
Rosa Acosta in Miami | Exclusive Interview
brought to you by The305.com & DerickG.com
Since Drake’s “Best I Ever Had” video premiered earlier this month. Everybody has been talking about the girls featured on Team Drake. We here at The305.com featured a little tribute to The Girls Of Team Drake with a post that went everywhere. And the girl that everybody could not stop talking about was Dominican beauty, Rosa Acosta. You know, she was the one doing all the fancy “stretching”.
Well, Rosa Acosta recently made a trip down to Miami this past weekend and of course we had to make a couple phone calls to make sure we had an interview with her before she left town. So The305.Com, along with DerickG.com, bring you the exclusive “Rosa Acosta In Miami” interview. Shot at her hotel’s pool area 10 stories up, overlooking the city of Miami skyline.
She talks a little bit about her Smooth Magazine issue in stores now (which is just a preview to her Smooth Girl appearance next month), a little bit about what she’s looking for in a guy. And a whole bunch of other things. Press play and be amazed.
Check more of Rosa on www.RosaAcosta.Com, which will relaunch with a brand new look next week.

K. Foxx headed to Hot 97 in New York
Seriously, as soon as I found out K. Foxx was leaving 99 Jamz to go to NYC’s Hot 97, I was a bit heartbroken. But at the same time, I was extremely happy for her. I know she’s a native to New York City and her family is up there. So to be able to take a job in your hometown [and] hosting the morning show on pretty much the biggest hip-hop radio station in the world – this has gotta be a dream for her. I really wish her the best. And just so you can see the history we got with K. Foxx, go to Google.Com and google “k. foxx 99 jamz”. You’re gonna see an old interview she and DJ Khaled did with The305.com back in 2004 when the TakeOver show was just born. And I remember her putting out her “I Am Every Woman” calendar. I remember the photoshoot I did with her for 305 Magazine. All good times.
Either way, here’s what she told Abebe Lewis via the MiamiLive newsletter…
“Life is amazing. I’ve been working at 99Jamz for 7 years and they have been the backbone for my advancement. Mr Rushin, Derrick Baker and Ced Hollywood all believed that I could achieve greatness, and I’d like to thank them for giving me the platform to shine.
This is why I have accepted a position in New York City on HOT 97, to co-host the new morning show with Cipha sounds and Rosenburg. I believe that success is when timing meets opportunity. I’ve stayed patient, humble, and I always worked hard, and will continue to work hard. I feel blessed to have been offered this position, and I will never forget my roots.
I will miss my 99 JAMZ family, but I am excited about new opportunities as well.
This is not the end of my reign in Miami, its just the beginning.”
We’re gonna miss you Kay!!!

Spotted at iBlog126. This is a real laid-back and dope song by the Opa-Locka goon. Its called “Sliding”. Poe Boy!

Arnold Steiner aka AS1 is a Miami-based artist and designer. You can see the extent of his fine art and graphic design work via www.as1projects.com. I’ve seen AS1′s work for years. The first being the Secret Frequency Crew, which I believe I still have the vinyl cover for. And then a couple years ago I started seeing his work more and more at Culture Kings. Most recently, I’ve been seeing his designs end up on t-shirts for numerous clothing companies including Last Rights, Diesel, Exact Science, Vanguard, Methods NYC and much more. Check out some of the designs below…

JOSE Part 2 material? Who knows. But it features 305′s own Pleasure P.

Jeff Staple is best known for designing the ultra-iconic Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Pigeon. We also posted some dope T-Shirts he dropped a couple months back. Well, Jeff Staple now teams up with Payless Shoes (yes, Payless) to drop this new series. Its pretty dope to see a successful and amazingly established designer like Jeff take somewhat of a risk and partner up with Payless. The ones above are called the “Gambits”. They’re pretty dope. And for Payless price-range, you can’t go wrong. But I’ll be real – besides the one shown above, I’m not really feeling the rest of the designs in the series. But you be the judge.
UPDATE: It has been reported that some Payless locations have received these, but they should hit all and/or most of them within the coming weeks

Word on the internets is that Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush have called it quits. I mean, I still don’t have a chance with her. But it don’t hurt to dream….
The only thing different. Is a couple extra second of boobs. And a couple extra stretching scenes. Trust me, I’ve become an expert on this video. Hahaha.
P.S. Exclusive Rosa Acosta Interview with The305.com coming soon. VERY SOON!

The original has tore up airwaves all over the south and the nation. Now, here’s the remix featuring Ricky and Birdman. Download & listen below. Shouts to Nah Right and X.
