News Links & Updates for Wednesday May 20th, 2009

newslinks

Its been a busy couple of weeks and haven’t been able to hit you with continuous news updates, so I thought I’d wrap it all up and summarize a couple popular stories and links that I’ve come across recently…

Deeper Than Rap Book? – Tia Kemp keeps it trill and discusses her book about her “baby daddy” Rick Ross, entitled Tia’s Diary: Deeper Than Rap . [KeepItTrill]

Kim Kardashian store in Miami vandalized? – I think this is totally a publicity stunt for their DASH Miami store on South Beach. It seems like they had this done to give the show some juice for one of its episodes. [Miami Herald]

Fat Joe album leans back – Fat Joe’s new album JOSE 2 has been pushed back for about a month or so to handle sample clearance issues and etc. [Sohh]

Sneakerpimps Miami Changes Location – First it was Soho, BUT NOW Sneakerpimps Miami will be held in The Moore Building in the Design District. Clipse and The Cool Kids are still going to perform. [The305]

Lil Wayne x Lauren London – People are saying Lauren London is pregnant by Lil Weezy? I haven’t seen a credible news source that confirms this so file this under the “Rumors” department. [RickeySmiley]

305 Days Uncredited for Mr. Harris – T.I. is still gonna serve most of his time. It was falsely reported that he would only serve 2 months, but sources say he will serve about 10. So those 305 days of house arrest weren’t considered as was reported earlier this week by numerous news sources. [MissInfo]

Rick Ross designs for the Big N’ Tall – Rick Ross recently told RapUp that he wouldn’t mind designing a clothing line for the heavy dudes out there. Speaking out of first hand experience, he says its hard to get that fly sh*t when you’re big and tall. [Rap-Up]
