Recently I was invited to Nike’s southeastern headquarters to preview their Nike Sportswear Spring 2009 Collection, which will be released via retailers on Saturday, April 4, 2009. I was greeted warmly by Nike’s incredible team and was shown the all new set of pieces and designs that will be available this quarter. Over the next week, we will do a 4-Part series of stories detailing the new collection, including photos and descriptions of the new products and some of the new technology that they incorporate. Here’s a schedule of what we will cover over the next week starting tomorrow…
Part One – We will go through a brief overview of the collection and take a photographic tour of the space and installation that demonstrated the new Spring 2009 Collection.
Part Two – We’ll take a look at the aptly titled, Skinny Dunk. It has the basic elements of the classic Dunk, but made for women specifically to fit the shape of a woman’s foot.
Part Three – A historic recap and reintroduction of the Nike Cortez running shoe and the introduction of FlyWire Technology in the Cortez, as well as other products.
Part Four – We’ll take you through our Nike ID experience @ Nike’s southeastern headquarters – and wrap-up our 4-Part series with a couple final details and left-over pieces of information.
