There are a lot of people in this world who do not want to be classified as Black. Black people have a bad rep. We are stereotypically drug addicts, lazy, uneducated, under-educated, angry, hostile, ugly, etc…

So when we hear about someone who we would automatically classify as Black denounce their status as such, we get angry, because it reemphasizes all of those negative attributes applied to Black people. And the fact that she would rather credit all of her “beauty” to being “white” than her African heritage.

We(people of African decent)know that we are georgous, smart, and simply wonderful loving, forgiving race of people. If there is someone out there (sho is of African decent) that would rather identify as something else(other than Black)or pass, let them. They’ll come back, they always do.

I’m a white female and have seen pictures of this chick for a few months now and I ALWAYS assumed she was black. I didn’t know anything about her, but on first glance she always looked like a black girl to me. A light skinned black girl, but definitely NOT white. I just saw this interview where she’s claiming to be a “white girl”. The black people on this site might tell her she’s not really black, but that doesn’t mean she’s white. Looking at these comments – its so obvious that race is exactly why the girl is in the limelight. If Kanye were dating any other African American “video vixen” nobody would give a crap. I’ve read every comment on this site and Im ready to sum this all up. It doesn’t matter if her mother is African and that her father is Italian, she claims to be a White person, Point Blank. If people honestly dated outside of their race because they just happen to fall in love with that person then I wouldn’t have a problem with it, but I know for a fact that this is not the case of white women who date Black men. If you disagree with my statement please give me names of a white women who has dated a wealthy Black Man who has one time been in the media and has lost his MONEY, POWER AND FAME and yet she remains by his side. Personally, I think that Black women need to follow in the footsteps of white women and stop settling for being a Baby Mama who’s chasing a man for a little bit of child support but instead to become someone’s Wife who is looked at as an equal partner in a relationship, if not by your partner, at least the courts will recognize U as one. Say what U want but white women see the bigger picture and they get the larger settlement, Ex: House, Cars, College funds for the children, etc. Child support of $150 every two weeks and getting your nails and hair done is not getting it.
