According to the Chicago Sun Times, Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade filed a libel lawsuit Wednesday against his estranged wife and her attorneys for claiming in a divorce filing that Wade had an adulterous affair and gave her a sexually transmitted disease. Wade, a Chicago native, claims Siohvaughn Wade damaged his reputation by knowingly making those false claims, which became public in media reports only to be later withdrawn from their divorce filing, according to documents filed in Cook County Circuit Court. Wade is seeking more than $200,000 in damages. - Words by The Sun Times

I’m glad I ran into this post on Fader today. NYC artist, Posterboy is a manipulator of sorts. He basically takes popular ads that the everyday New Yorker sees everyday within the subway system and turns into works of art by mix and matching different parts of different posters amoung one another. Controversy has sparked up as of recent (google: “posterboy moma” and you’ll see the articles), but it doesn’t change the fact that this kind of art-tactic is original and a bit exciting.  Video of him in action after the jump…

I saw this posted by Jacob over at the New Times. And wow, what a gem. This is throwback footage of Bob Marley & The Wailers during a recording session at Criteria Studios (which is now The Hit Factory) located in North Miami Beach. This was recorded on September 14, 1980.

Apparently , Kanyeezy’s new girl Amber Rose is alledgedly a former stripper from Mount Vernon, NY. Kanyeezy has been seen with her recently and quite openly in New York and in London for a series of recent fashion shows that took place over the last week. Ye hasn’t been shy with letting the world see his new dimepice. Well, apparently its being reported that Ms. Rose goes by the name ”Paris” at famed Sues Rendezvous strip club. - IDC

For this edition of Taste Tuesdays, I have to introduce you to People’s Bar-B-Que aka the People’s Drugstore & BBQ over in Downtown Miami/Overtown. I was introduced to this spot by my homie Danny from over at Shoe Gallery while doing a photo project with him (photo above) and let me tell you, the food is amazing. Like…ridiculously amazing. Its authentic soul food and barbeque that will definitely get you hooked as soon as you try it.

My recommendation is their popular BBQ Ribs with Pigeon Peas & Rice, their Macaroni & Cheese, which all comes with thier signature toasted cornbread. Off the chain and its less than $9 for the above plate. They’re open Monday through Saturday for lunch and dinner, address is below…

Congrats to hometown Miami girl, Miss Angelica “Curves” Casanas, named as one of the beautiful women part of the Lady Hennessy Tour. Her first appearance on the tour is scheduled for this Wednesday February 25th (tommorrow) over at Club B.E.D.

As part of the tour, she will be visiting different cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Phoenix, Dallas, Atlanta, Houston, Washington D.C., and more. So make sure you check her out tommorrow at Club B.E.D. Here’s a little more info on the story behind the tour…

Lady Hennessy is a program to focus on increasing volume to the African American males 30+ and Hispanic Males 25+. Lady Hennessy has 6 High Profile women such as Melyssa Ford, Toccara Jones, Dollicia Bryan, Angelica Curves, Regan Gomez and Miss Issa. They will be visiting Liquor stores and Clubs all around the United States.

They will be apart of the program starting in February until April. Then they come back again for Phase Two and visit various markets from May – July.

Via the Riptide, apparently Michael Jordan and his beautiful 30 year-old Cuban girlfriend Yvette Prieto have bought a 3-bedroom house in Kendall for $281,000. Something really doesn’t seem right about it though because its in a relatively ”regular” neighborhood, just west of The Hammocks. So most likely, its some kind of purchase for her or a family member or a friend. The Post mentioned that Prieto had some credit problems and filed for bankruptcy in 2002 – so maybe MJ is helping his girl out a little bit.
