This is the first single to Shonie’s upcoming album on Slip-N-Slide Records. I’ve heard about the single for a while and there was a little bit of anticipation built up to it. And you know, it doesn’t dissappoint at all. Slip-N-Slide needs to play its cards right because this could be a big record for them and for Shonie. And shit, even for Fabolous. Holla!

Q-Tip came back to South Florida for the second time within a few months. The first was Rock The Bells back in August. And most recently was Revolution in Ft. Lauderdale for the 2K8 Bounce Tour with The Cool Kids. Q-Tip has a new album out called the Renaissance, which is actually pretty good. Either way, here are two links to reviews of the show courtesy of the good people over at the New Times and our people over at Say Uncle, Inc…
Broward New Times Review: “…Evident of the show last night and the new record, Q-Tip is just reaching his Renaissance…” Click here to read the full review
Say Uncle Review: “…Combining the new acts of The Knux & Cool Kids with a draw like Q-Tip was a good marketing move by the concert promoter at 2K Sports, as was their ploy to setup video game consoles at the side of the stage where ballers could test their skills on the latest hoops release…” Click here to read the full review

A “Black Carpet” affair will go down tonight at 8PM at Shoe Gallery for the anticipated Black Friday Air Force 1. These are gonna go fast. We heard that there’s been a line at Shoe Gallery since Monday night. But you might still have a chance to cop one in your size if you’re lucky. Here are some specs, according to SneakerNews(who also provided the photos):
”…the upper features black pony hair on the front half which covers the toe area, toe box, side panels and the eyelets. The back half comes to life with metallic silver lenticular on the swoosh, heel piece and the heel tab. And finally the midsole is a nice glossy metallic in a muted array of colors.”

Not sure why, but I found this to be really hilarious. I never thought that hip-hop could actually reach the point where it could have purchase-able sheet music of its most popular songs. But yeah, Plies’ is available to buy. Click here to purchase for $4

I realized that I never got a chance to post this. Khaled, Yeezy and Pain go hard on this one. Video is a little on the lackluster side, but it gets the job done.

In celebration of tommorrow’s Clark Kent Black Friday sneaker release at Shoe Gallery, I thought that I’d post a rewind of the photos from July’s 112 Pack Release with Clark Kent that went down last July (also at Shoe Gallery). Click here to see those photos….
Mad shouts out to UB for this song. This song is dope and really puts it down for the DJ’s. DJ’s are truly one of the true backbones of hip-hop culture and hip-hop music in general. UB definitely did an amazing job in naming a list of DJ’s that have impacted the bigger picture of this called hip-hop. Along with a little bit of a swing towards those 305 DJ’s that have been a part of the Miami hip-hop movement. Listen and download below…

Lil Wayne is on the cover of the current issue of Mad Magazine. I actually bought the issue at Publix last week and noticed that they just have Weezy F. on the cover and the actual feature is some lackluster strip about some video extra or something. Way to capitolize on Wayne’s fame.

I’m a few months late on this, but this group from the West Coast called LMFAO released this song called “I’m In Miami Bitch”. Just think of what a hipster version of Gnarls Barkley would sound like and you pretty much have a taste of LMFAO. Anyways, Pitbull jumped on the remix. Hear below both the original and the remix with Pitbull.

I’ve always that Deadshot (Shottie) is literally one of the dopest (if not, THE dopest) emcees out of Dade County. And the following track is no exception. Delivery, swagger, lyrics and cadence is all on point. Click below to hear and also to download…
